TX7EME will be a marginal station, and I will be alone to assemble everything and to operate the station so, at least at moonrise when EU stations will roar through the waterfall, it will be quite frantic&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call will be <strong>TX7EME<\/strong>. Locator <strong>BH65EA<\/strong>. Be sure to add these data in your call3.txt file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operating frequency will be around <strong>1296.100 MHz<\/strong> QRM permitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some well known operating tips and a couple of add-ons, doesn\u2019t hurt to have a&nbsp;look at them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Please call&nbsp;me when you CAN copy my signal on the waterfall. No need to have a good decode from me,&nbsp;you will decode&nbsp;my signal&nbsp;when I will&nbsp;call you back.<\/li><li>Better&nbsp;don\u2019t stop calling&nbsp;me when I already am in QSO with someone else, after every QSO&nbsp;I will call the next station&nbsp;I have in queue, but only if he was transmitting on the minute before.<\/li><li>Don\u2019t hop around, choose a freq to call&nbsp;me and stay there for a while. If you stop transmitting , listen in the next period and then change freq if you feel like it.<\/li><li>I will not transmit my&nbsp;73.&nbsp;Copied your&nbsp;73&nbsp;I will go back to call CQ or&nbsp;I will answer to&nbsp;another copied station directly with the OOOs\u2026<\/li><li>You need to send 73 after you got&nbsp;our RRR,&nbsp;I will have to be sure the QSO is completed, your cross check will be possible directly from the log at a later time.<\/li><li><strong>Very Important!!<\/strong> At moonrise I will take stations only from EU, since the common moon window is very short 2 to 3 hours tops. For all the others, there will be plenty of time later&#8230;.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since there are still some <strong>CW <\/strong>enthusiasts that probably will want to have a shot at the new one, I will gladly accept CW skeds, altough my CW is not that great, and the signals will be vy marginal given the small dish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think that most of the traffic will be in <strong>JT65C<\/strong> mode, but it is more than possible that if the pileup will be ferocious and the signals will be good enough, I will switch to <strong>Q65-30C<\/strong>, in order to maximize the number of QSO per given time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Time zone is quite nasty down there, so keep in mind that local Rangiroa Summer Time is <strong>UTC -10h<\/strong>. So, for most of the time, I will be on the day before yours.
